Lusaka, Zambia – 23rd January 2025
President Hakainde Hichilema has terminated the contract of Mr. Milner Muyambango, who served as Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Operations at the Zambia Police Service. The termination, effective immediately, was made pursuant to Article 270 of the Constitution of the Republic of Zambia.
In a press release issued by the Office of the President, President Hichilema expressed his gratitude to Mr. Muyambango for his service to the Government of Zambia. The President also wished him well in his future endeavors.
The statement reiterated President Hichilema’s commitment to the principles of good governance, emphasizing the importance of public officers respecting the rule of law, upholding accountability, and remaining dedicated to the citizens they serve.
