Speaking at the arrival of Starlink satellite kits at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport the, National Coordinator for Smart Zambia Institute Percy Chinyama says the kits are meant to improve the connectivity of the country on internet services.
Meanwhile, the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Information and Media Thabo Kawana has urged the members of the public to guard the equipment jealously for it is meant to benefit every citizen of this country.
He says the successful discussions of the president of Zambia Mr Hakainde Hichilema and his assets culminated into the arrival of Starlink satellite kits.
Therefore he says, in order for the goal to be achieved the government of the Republic of Zambia had initiated the provision of Satellite internet service by marrying the targeted areas such as schools, health facilities, and the local authorities.
