Nalolo Member of Parliament, Hon Imanga Wamunyima, paid a visit to Namabunga Primary School in Silowana Ward, Nalolo West Bank on Monday, 10 June 2024.
Hon Wamunyima, swiftly sprang into action during his visit to assess the aftermath of a recent incident that resulted in the roofs being blown off two classroom blocks. With a clear purpose in mind, he wasted no time in evaluating the extent of the damage caused by this unfortunate event.
The primary objective of Hon Wamunyima’s visit was to conduct a thorough assessment of the destruction caused by a recent incident, which led to the roofs being blown off two classroom blocks. As a dedicated member of parliament, he promptly took charge and initiated immediate action to address the situation at hand.
He directed the Ward Development Committee (WDC) to swiftly apply for the disaster fund, ensuring that the roofs are repaired promptly through the disaster component of the Constituency Development Fund.
Hon Wamunyima reassured the community and the learners that he is fully committed to providing a conducive learning environment for all the students.
Nalolo has unfortunately experienced five disasters, which has put a strain on the available resources.
However, Hon Wamunyima remains optimistic that the rehabilitation works will be prioritized and attended to as soon as possible.
