The Energy Regulation Board (ERB) has announced the Price of petrolium increment with petrol having an upward adjustment of K34.19 per litre from K29.98 per litre ,diesel has been adjusted from K29.96 per litre to K32.15 per litre while kerosene has been maintained at K20.44/litre.
And the (ERB) Board Chairperson Reynolds Bowa says increments have been made due to the depreciation of kwacha he therefore says the price review will be effective midnight today.
He notes that during the period under review, the prices of oil on the international market were relatively stable.
He therefore says the Board remains committed to fostering an open and transparent environment in the fuel pricing process ensuring that the public and all stakeholders have access to relevant and comprehensive information.
