Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security, Jack Mwiimbu, has consistently stated that the government is not involved in the internal disputes within the opposition party, the Patriotic Front-PF.
During a press conference in Lusaka, Mr. Mwiimbu made it clear that the government is not involved in the internal conflicts within the PF party. He stated that the government’s main priorities are to maintain law and order, protect the safety of citizens, and uphold democratic principles.
According to Mr. Mwiimbu, there have been speculations and accusations suggesting that the government is involved in or influencing the internal conflicts within the PF. However, he asserts that the government has no intention of interfering in the internal affairs of any political party.
The government has denied any involvement in the internal conflicts within the PF party. They have stated that their priority is to remain neutral and work towards maintaining peace in the country.
