Tiger Football Club has scooped Jack Mwiimbu 2022 Tournament in Mayaba Ward after beating Chisila Football Club 3-0 at the finals held yesterday at St. Mary’s Primary School Grounds.
While Bbanda Netball Club emerged victorious after beating Tigers Netball Club 11-5.
And Speaking on behalf of Monze Central MP Jack Mwiimbu, Monze Central Chairperson Bongo Namitondo says the purpose of Jack Mwiimbu tournament is to unite youths in the Constituency.
Mr. Namitondo has however challenged youths to grab the empowerment opportunities rolled out in the New Dawn government to better their lives.
And Monze Central Youth Chaiperson Robson Mayambu thanked youths for exhibiting peace during the ball games in three wards so far where Jack Mwiimbu 2022 Tournament has been played.
Mr. Mayambu who is also Mayaba Ward Councilor explained that equal resources have been apportioned to all 12 wards in Monze Central Constituency to host the tournament.
Meanwhile Felistus Silwiindi of Bbanda Netball Club thanked Mr. Mwiimbu for sponsoring sports activities which help to keep the youths busy away from illicit activities.
