This occurred between 23rd October, 2022 at round 20:00 hour and today the 24th October, 2022 at 01:00 hours in Chiwanda Village of Chief Kafwimbi in Isoka District.
Brief facts of the matter are that the victim had come from Chinsali for a church camp in Isoka at Saint Mark Parish at a Catholic Church and at around 20:00 hours on 23rd October,2022 in the company of her friends a female juvenile ,the suspect and a male adult aged 23 from the same church went to drink beer in Isoka town and later at 20:00 hours the Victim got drunk and she failed to reach the parish where they were camping, then she was escorted by her two male friends both all of Isoka District.
When she was taken by the two at 20:00 hours she didn’t know what happened as she was too drunk and only woke up at 01:00 hours when she discovered that she was alone,undressed with a painful private part and she discovered that she was raped but she didn’t know who the suspect was as well as the place she was until when she started walking and asked the woman she found nearby who told her that she was in Chiwanda village.
The victim managed to walk back to the Parish and found all her friends there but she wondered why the two male persons left her alone and when she wanted to check something on Facebook on the suspect’s phone she found videos of herself on his phone and some pictures of herself naked that was when she was sure it was him who had raped her as the pictures were taken from the scene.
She later decided to report the matter at Isoka police station. A docket of case opened has been opened and the suspect has been charged and arrested for the offence of Rape. He will appear in court soon.
