Final results to ascertain the cause of death of the two prospective Zambia Correctional recruits who died in Kabwe while attending physical interviews are likely to be released within four weeks, parliament has heard.

Mubanga Chileshe aged 30 and Stanley Siwale died in unclear circumstances while attending physical interviews in the ongoing recruitment exercises of prison warders and wardresses.

Rendering a ministerial statement in parliament today, Home Affairs and Internal Security Minister Jack Mwiimbu say the physical interviews involved running 12 kilometers within Mukuyu farms situated next to Mukobeko correctional facility.

Mr. Mwiimbu says preliminary results of a post-mortem conducted on 7th November indicate that Mr. Mubanga died as a result of right-sided subdural hemorrhage due to blunt impact trauma to the head. And Mr.

Mwiimbu says that a physical inspection conducted on Mr. Siwale’s corpse revealed that he sustained a big fresh cut on the lower part of the body.
