Socialist Party National Mobilisation Chairperson Mr Horace Longwe has described Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) Chairperson Mr Esau Chulu as a Noble Man who was supposed to be given more time at the Election House because of his selfless act of respecting the Will of the people to prevail in the just ended General Election, where the Patriotic Front (PF) lost to the United Party for National Development (UPND) in a historical election.

Mr. Longwe warned the rulling party that the person they will bring will prove to be more problematic than Mr. Chulu and would not act the way they want him to act.

He said the none renewal of the contracts for Judge Chulu and Dr. Emily Joy Sikazwe is serious and can backfire at them, as the two conducted the elections in a credible manner and that the act was a true reflection of patriotism and professional office bearers, as Zambian’s have no issues with the system at ECZ.

He predicted that the none renewal of contracts of Judge Chulu and Dr. Sikazwe is dangerous because there is a possibility that the person who will take over might be worse than the two.

He pledged that once his party forms government they will not be experimenting on peoples’ lives.
