Lusaka, June 9, 2025 – The Fourth Session of the 13th National Assembly is set to resume tomorrow, June 10, after adjourning sine die on March 28, 2025.
All Members of Parliament (MPs) have been summoned to Lusaka for the session, which will commence at 14:30 hours in the National Assembly Chamber.
Nshamba Muzungu, the National Assembly Senior Media Liaison Officer, confirmed the resumption, stating that the agenda will include the presentation of committee reports before the House. These reports will then be subject to debate and potential adoption by MPs.
Mr. Muzungu emphasised the importance of public engagement, urging citizens and stakeholders to follow the proceedings closely.
“The Office of the Acting Clerk of the National Assembly encourages all citizens and interested parties to take an active interest in the deliberations,” he said.
The session is expected to address critical legislative and oversight matters, with MPs scrutinising key committee findings that could shape policy and governance in the coming months.
