Lusaka, Zambia – In response to a disturbing incident in Chikankata, where a man allegedly impregnated a 14-year-old grade four pupil, Honourable Jacqueline Sabao has issued a stern warning to would-be offenders involved in child sex cases. Sabao emphasized that those found guilty of such heinous crimes will face the full force of the law.
As a champion of women’s rights and a strong advocate for sexual and reproductive health (SRH) issues, she is committed to ensuring that vulnerable populations, especially children and women, are protected from abuse and exploitation.
The alleged abuse in Chikankata, which began when the victim was just 11 years old, highlights the urgent need for increased vigilance and action against child sex offenders. Sabao’s warning reaffirms the government’s commitment to protecting the rights and safety of all children.
