Kantanshi PF Member of Parliament Anthony Mumba has firmly stated that he is not a UPND sympathizer.
In a recent statement, Mumba declared that former PF Secretary General Davies Mwila is politically obsolete and lacks the authority to adopt anyone within the party.
Mumba’s remarks come in response to Mwila’s recent assertion that all PF MPs who called for former President Edgar Lungu’s retirement will not be adopted in the upcoming elections. Mwila emphasized that Lungu will not retire and will play a crucial role in the 2025 campaigns. Mumba, along with other PF MPs, had previously urged Lungu to retire from active politics following a Constitutional Court ruling that declared him ineligible to contest future elections.
