During his address to the students at the university, President Hichilema shared his plans to use his own finances to purchase an ambulance. This vital addition will ensure that students who fall ill at the institution, which is located 20 kilometers away from the nearest hospital, receive timely medical assistance.
In addition to this, the President has also committed to procuring a bus for the students. This bus will not only facilitate their educational activities but also provide them with opportunities for recreation and exploration, enhancing their overall experience at the university.
Recognizing the importance of access to clean water, President Hichilema has vowed to install a borehole on campus. This initiative will alleviate the water challenges faced by the students, further contributing to a conducive learning environment.
