The Office of the Auditor General Zambia has joined the AFROSAI-E Regional Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Workshop taking place in Pretoria, South Africa.
The main goal of this workshop is to enhance the communication skills of practitioners from Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) in areas such as internal communication, collaboration with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and the establishment of effective metrics for monitoring stakeholder engagement initiatives.
Moreover, participants will have the opportunity to establish supportive relationships with their peers by discussing the various challenges they have encountered and sharing their insights during the workshop sessions.
Currently, communication practitioners from several countries including Zimbabwe, Kenya, Uganda, Lesotho, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Swaziland, The Gambia, Ghana, and Sierra Leone are taking part in this valuable learning experience.
The workshop is scheduled to take place from Monday, February 19, 2024, to Friday, February 23, 2024, providing attendees with a week-long platform to enhance their communication skills and exchange knowledge with professionals from various African nations.
