ZCSA, the Zambia Compulsory Standards Agency, recently took action by disposing of a variety of non-compliant products that were valued at a staggering amount of K903,930.
These products were confiscated during market surveillance inspections in Lusaka.
The reason for their disposal was due to their failure to meet the necessary compulsory standards that are required for consumer safety and satisfaction.
This proactive measure taken by ZCSA demonstrates their commitment to ensuring that only compliant and safe products are available in the market, ultimately protecting the well-being of consumers.
