It brings me great joy to be present here today, commemorating this special occasion where we come together to share our blessings with the children at the Kuomboka Support group.
This incredible organization provides support to children living with Cerebral Palsy, as well as those facing hearing and concentration challenges.
In a heartfelt speech delivered on behalf of Mr. Chris Nyirongo, the CEO of Shimzlaw Courier Kings, he expressed his sincere gratitude to BOND Disability for their generous hospitality and for organizing such a significant event. The words spoken resonated with appreciation as he acknowledged the efforts made by BOND Disability in hosting his company and ensuring the success of the occasion.
We firmly believe that employing individuals with disabilities is not only the morally right thing to do, but also a wise decision.
Mr. Nyirongo emphasized the immense value that individuals with unique perspectives, innovative ideas, and entrepreneurial skills bring to any workforce. Their contributions not only enrich the organizations they work for but also inspire other businesses and organizations, creating a ripple effect that positively impacts countless individuals. By recognizing and nurturing these talents, we can foster a culture of creativity and growth that benefits everyone involved.
Our responsibility lies in empowering people to become economically active, while also recognizing the importance of supporting their personal aspirations.
Regardless of one’s abilities or disabilities, talents or gifts, every individual has something valuable to contribute. It is our duty to ensure their success, help them achieve their dreams, transform their ideas into reality, and enable them to make a positive impact on their community.
Living with disabilities should never limit one’s potential, despite the discrimination they may face from society. Unfortunately, this group remains the most marginalized and mistreated. Their resilience is both impressive and humbling.
Therefore, it is imperative that we dismantle the barriers they encounter in their daily lives, allowing them to reach their full potential.
Today, Shimzlaw is filled with pride as we extend a humble contribution to the Kuomboka Support group. Our intention is to not only provide immediate aid but also to forge a long-lasting bond with this extraordinary community, with the aspiration of offering further support in the days to come. Mr. Nyirongo, on behalf of Shimzlaw, expresses his heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of you for your warm welcome. May this day be filled with blessings for all.
