Melo News | Saturday, 23rd December 2023 | Bwana Mkubwa Constituency, Ndola
Yesterday, Honorable Warren Mwambazi, a member of Parliament representing Bwana Mkubwa, attended a vibrant event at Mushili Bonano Primary School in Ndola. The purpose of the gathering was to witness the formal presentation of Grant and Loan Cheques to the deserving recipients.
The 2023 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) allocated a total of K3,227,784.83 for loans and K2,150,800 for grants.
At this gathering, we expressed our gratitude to President Hakainde Hichilema and his administration for their efforts in augmenting the CDF funding. This substantial increase has led to numerous remarkable accomplishments benefiting our citizens.
We also motivated the recipients to utilize the funds wisely in order to enhance their quality of life.
Furthermore, we strongly encouraged individuals who received the loans to prioritize timely repayment, as it would enable others to also reap the benefits.
It is important to acknowledge that we cannot provide empowerment to every applicant simultaneously. However, it is crucial for our constituents to understand that we have allocated funding for 2024, which will give them an opportunity to be empowered. It is essential to note that this does not imply that they have been excluded or marginalized.
We are committed to embracing all individuals and ensuring that we enhance their lives, as this is the very reason you elected us. As leaders, we will wholeheartedly fulfill this responsibility.
