Dr. Ron Mwambwa, the Acting Auditor General, anticipates a significant enhancement in the 2024 audits.
In a speech delivered by Acting Deputy Auditor General Mr. Emmanuel Tembo, Dr. Mwamba highlighted that the reason behind this was due to the timing of the training, which coincided with the implementation of the 2024 Audit Plan by the Office.
He emphasized the importance of auditors who have received training to also pass on their knowledge to ensure that no one is left behind.
The revised Financial Audit Methodology (FAM) training has garnered the attention of senior auditors and auditors from both Provincial Audit offices and headquarters.
The management deemed it appropriate to provide training to the aforementioned auditors as they play a crucial role in the audit process.
Dr. Mwambwa emphasized the significance of being well-versed in methodology for those undergoing training as they hold the responsibility for the meticulous audit work.
Despite their hectic schedule, he expressed his gratitude to AFROSAI-E for organizing the training in Zambia.
