The ACC has denied reports claiming that over K65 million, which was confiscated from Musonda in a case where she was charged with possession of proceeds of crime, has gone missing. The commission has clarified that the funds are accounted for and have not been misused or lost.

According to a leaked Auditor General’s Management Letter, funds totaling K65 million and K1 million have not been deposited into control 99, and their current location is unknown. The ACC is currently investigating the matter and will provide updates as they become available.
Speaking to the press in Lusaka, ACC Board Chairperson Musa Mwenya clarified the situation and defended the organization’s integrity.
