Zambia’s plans to mint gold medals have been delayed, as the country has yet to win a gold medal at the Confederation of African Athletics championship currently taking place in Ndola.
Plans by Zambia to mint gold medals have been delayed. The country, which has only won two silver and two bronze medals in the Olympics, is currently ranked 13th on the medals table.
Meanwhile, South Africa continues to lead the medal table with an impressive 42 medals, including 21 gold, 13 silver, and 8 bronze.
Nigeria is second with a total of 31 medals while Kenya is third with 18 medals.
