Today US Vice President Kamala Harris visited Panuka Farms in Chisamba, Zambia. The farm is making great strides in using climate-smart agriculture techniques to manage various aspects of their farm in order to increase the quantity and quality of their produce. Panuka Farms has a wide range of agricultural produce.
Panuka Farms was founded by Mr Bruno Mweemba in 2017. At the time he was starting the farm, his goal was to demonstrate that Zambian farmers can be a model for the world. The success of the farm is a testament that Zambian farmers are capable of excelling while using climate-smart agriculture.
With more technology being incorporated in the Zambian agricultural sector, the future is bright for Zambia’s farmers.
