GRIEF and sorrow engulfed Bojongo Ngosa Popularly known as BJ Ngosa, as he bid farewell to his last born son who died in road traffic accident that left four other family members nursing injuries.

“I was supposed to be looking at five caskets tomorrow (Today) but the Jehovah that I save was faithful enough to save the other four,” Ngosa shared on his Facebook post yesterday.

Today, numerous mourners came to sympathise with the family as Ngosa summoned up his strength to sing at the memorial service held at Praise Christian Centre along Great East Road in Lusaka today.

Some who could not hold their tears as he sang in worship and broke down in tears, went to console him on the podium.

The renowned gospel singer’s son Schulel died on the spot, while his wife, Jubilee Mwamba and his three other children were taken to Levy Mwanawasa Hospital for medical attention.

The wife who was only informed of her son’s passing on the eve of the burial, is still recovering as she is unable to move, Ngosa said.

Last night Ngosa took to social media to narrate what transpired immediately after the accident occurred while he used that same time to thank everyone who has prayed for, and given support to his family.

He said the past six days have been emotional and sorrowful for him.

“I had a dead son in my hands and a very, very injured wife on my side,” Ngosa said.

“I decided to concentrate on the living because I knew that my son was dead
and concentrated on my wife… Bane ( people) it is very painful but who are we?We dont control anything.”

Schulel was only four years old and has been put to rest at the Memorial Park today.
