A two-man squad of vicious robbers has been dispatched to the bottom most part of hell by flurry of bullets by police.
Ernest ‘Chaila’ Mashane, 37 and his brother in crime, Fidelis ‘Shi Castrol’ Mwansa, 31 are said to have been brazen gun wielding robbers who grabbed anything from anyone at anytime.
So fast were their moves that before police could ‘organise’ fuel to rush to the scene, Mashane and Mwansa would have evaporated like a drop of water in the Sahara desert.
Beaten for speed and tactics, cops opted to show the duo that Lilayi is not just for singing sausage and zankalewa songs.
The cops tricked the duo with an invitation to the police for a discussion and clarifications over a few issues.
However, according to insider sources, the ‘discussion’ was quickly converted into crying and confessions session as the cops encouraged the duo to spill the beans.
In fact, cops made soft work of Mashane and his junior partner that they not only revealed where in their home they had put their pistol, but also that they had the feared duo had AK 47 automatic rifle hidden in Kitwe’s Mindolo Dam area.
As rivers of tears, mucus mixed with the red juice from veins rolled on their faces, the duo led police to the Mindolo area to retrieve the weapon.
And it is here that the story, as told by Deputy Police Spokesperson Danny Mwale become strange.
The dangerous criminals, who somehow who were weak from brutal interrogation, attempted to embark on a run from armd cops on foot.
Not interested in making their well-polished boots dirty by chasing after the duo, the police sent a few bullets in their direction.
In no time, the duo was made Brought-In-Dead cases for Kitwe Central Hospital where they were promptly chilled in the mortuary after enduring hot bullets.
