As Kapelwe Mbangweta Western Province Minister Counsels the mayor to deliver to the expectations of the people in the District.
Western Provincial Minister Hon Mbangweta said it will be unfair to the Council to fail to deliver to the people in the District more especially that UPND Government has promoted decentralization policy in order to support the local people and the Community
Mr Mbangweta said it was encouraging to see the people turning in numbers today during the inauguration ceremony which is a clear indication that the people in the District have more Hope in the Mayor and the mayor has a task to deliver to the people.
Hon Mbangweta said it was unfortunate that even when some part of CDF money has been released, People have not been able to access the same funds as stipulated in the CDF guidelines.
And Mongu Municipal Council Newly Installed Mayor Mr Nyambe Muyumbana has assured the people of Mongu District over his commitment to deliver to their expectations.
Mr Muyumbana said their vote in the previous By-election is not in vain but it’s a big gain.
