Kelvin Kamayoyo, Zambian Economist, Scholar and BuyZed Technical Advisor and Strategist, has noted that time is now to be conscious of environmental sustainability actions and embrace eco-friendly products and practices. He also emphasised that there was need to preserve the Zambezi River and harvest its water sustainably for economic development and wealth creation. The Zambezi River if well preserved and carefully harnessed may yield commercial value similar to that of a gold or diamond mine. Apparently today the most vicious threat to the welfare of the Zambezi River and its ecosystem is somewhat activities of human beings and the mutation of climate change events.
