While appreciating the pivotal role the church is playing in Katombola Constituency, area member of Parliament Honorable Clement Andeleki has maintained his discission that his money (including his salary) is meant for his poor constituents who voted for him.
Speaking at Katapazi Ward’s St Mary Immaculate Roman Catholic Church where he donated K15,000 when he attended a special Christmas celebration service, he said that he did not go to parliament to enrich himself and his family, but rather, he wants to give back to the poor who took him there.
Honorable Andeleki who emphasized the need for the church to continue taking care of the poor, widows and orphans said his success is owed to the church which educated him and blessed him through prayers and a lot of moral support.
Coming from a background of being raised in an orphanage, Honorable Andeleki has vowed to contribute towards bettering the lives of the poor by all means through any possible ways, because he is a product of grace; educated by the church with its blessings seeing him through his life success.
