Two people sustained serious injuries when a Volvo truck registration number AFJ 1106 ZM and trailer number AJE 9998 ZM they were travelling in lost control due to excessive speed and went to hit into a tree off the road along Great North Road at Liteta trading area on 8th November,2022 around 15:30 hours.
The driver has been identified as Innocent Chuma aged 30 who sustained a bruised right arm, chest pains and swollen head while his passenger as Charles Phiri who sustained cuts on the head.
At the time of the accident, the truck was loaded with 600 bags each weighing 50 kilograms of stock feed and had it is horse extensively damaged.
Both victims are admitted at Liteta Hospital.
