The Government of the Republic of Zambia wishes to confirm that Zambia will once again be commemorating the country’s National Day of Prayer, Fasting, Repentance and Reconciliation on 18th October, which remains a public holiday.
The Government leadership is extremely encouraged by the enthusiasm that the Zambian people have continued to show towards the countrywide prayers and wishes to encourage every Zambian to participate in the programme that has been laid down by the National Organising Committee.
At the national level, the National Day of Prayer, Fasting, Repentance and Reconciliation Church Service will be held on Tuesday, 18th October, 2022 at the Lusaka Show Grounds at 09:00 hours.
At provincial and district levels, church service activities will be held at the identified venues and will be organised in conjunction with the local Church Mother Bodies.
Government wishes to encourage the people of Zambia not to grow weary but to continue praying, so that the country may continue experiencing the favour of God.
