Former Drug Enforcement Commissioner, Mr Raphael Simomo Mungole who died in the early morning hours on 16th June 2022, will be put to rest on Monday 20 th June 2022 at Memorial Park in Lusaka.
Church service will be held at Chelstone Catholic Church Parish.
Mr Mungole was one of the co-founder members of Drug Enforcement Commission in 1989.
His passion for law enforcement and dedication to duty, led to his appointment as Commissioner of Drug enforcement commission in 1993 and led the commission until 2002.
Even though he left DEC,Mr Mungole was always available to offer counsel to subsequent leaders of the Commission.
The nation has lost a gallant law enforcement officer who was patriotic and passionate about his work.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
