Lusaka — The Republic of Zambia has today accorded a warm and dignified welcome to the President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, and the First Lady, Lordina Mahama, who are in the country on a State Visit.
The visit marks a significant moment in the long-standing and cordial relations between Zambia and Ghana, two nations united by shared values of democracy, peace, and Pan-African cooperation. Discussions during the State Visit are expected to strengthen bilateral ties, deepen economic collaboration, and advance mutual interests across trade, investment, governance, and people-to-people exchanges.
Welcoming the Ghanaian delegation, President Hakainde Hichilema expressed Zambia’s profound honour at hosting the distinguished guests, underscoring the enduring friendship between the two countries and their joint commitment to regional integration and African solidarity.
