In his message of appreciation, President Hichilema highlighted the vital role that farmers play in supporting the nation’s economy and overall wellbeing.

“Happy Farmer’s Day to all the hardworking farmers who make sure we have food on our tables. Your resilience and determination do not go unnoticed. Today, we honor your significant contributions to the health of our nation,” the President remarked.

Agriculture is the backbone of Zambia’s economy, providing jobs for millions and delivering essential food products to households throughout the country. The President’s message serves as a reminder of how crucial it is to support farmers with favorable policies, access to resources, and market opportunities.

Tag a farmer you know and show your appreciation! Let’s celebrate the men and women who work tirelessly to feed our nation.
