Lusaka, Zambia – June 16, 2025
Dear friends, constituents, and well-wishers,
I wish to inform you that late yesterday Sunday, 15/6/2025, at around 15:30 hours, I was involved in a road accident in Kafue National Park when my vehicle flipped and overturned.
This occurred shortly after I attended a divine service at Kapili School in Mangango Constituency, where the District Apostle of the New Apostolic Church conducted a powerful divine service in our constituency.
I was alone in the car, and passers-by came to my aid and rescued me quickly. I want to appreciate them all. They showed love and care to me and assisted me so much to the extent that I couldn’t believe. May God richly bless them and reward them for the service they rendered to me at the point of my need.
Mumbwa police also immediately came in as soon as they were informed. I appreciate the police service for their quick response and their professionalism they portrayed.
I was taken to Coptic Hospital in the night. I underwent medical examinations by qualified medical doctors and by God’s grace, all tests confirmed that I am in good health. No serious injuries sustained internally and externally.
I thank the doctors and medical staff for their swift and professional care at Coptic Hospital.
I am deeply grateful for the overwhelming messages of concern and prayers from my family, constituents, colleagues, and fellow Zambians. Your support strengthens me, and I assure you that I remain focused on serving our great constituency and nation.
Let us continue to trust God in all circumstances.
Hon. Mwene Luhamba
Member of Parliament, Mangango Constituency
