Kaoma, Zambia | 16 June 2025 – Mangango Constituency Member of Parliament, Hon. Mwene Luhamba, was involved in a serious road accident yesterday along the Kafue National Park stretch while returning to Lusaka after a routine constituency tour.

Eyewitnesses reported that the MP’s vehicle flipped and overturned, sustaining extensive damage. Miraculously, Hon. Luhamba escaped unhurt and is in stable condition.
In an exclusive phone interview this morning, the lawmaker confirmed his well-being, stating, “I thank God for protection—I’m in tip-top condition despite the scare.”
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
