The ceremony was led by the National Coordinator of SMART Zambia, Mr. Percy Chinyama, who was flanked by key officials including Ms. Stella Nyonda, Acting Deputy Auditor General – Corporate Services, and Mr. Emmanuel Tembo, Deputy Auditor General – Audits. They were assisted by Mr. Mwelwa Munsaka, OAG Head of ICT, in cutting the ribbon to mark the milestone event.

The newly launched website is expected to improve public access to audit reports, government accountability documents, and other critical information. The accompanying ICT Strategy and Policy will guide the OAG in adopting modern digital solutions to enhance efficiency, data security, and service delivery.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Chinyama emphasized the importance of digital innovation in strengthening governance and accountability. “This launch marks a pivotal moment in the OAG’s commitment to leveraging technology for better audit processes and public engagement,” he said.

Ms. Nyonda and Mr. Tembo echoed these sentiments, highlighting how the ICT Strategy will streamline operations and support the OAG’s mandate in overseeing public resources.

The event was attended by government officials, ICT experts, and stakeholders who commended the OAG for embracing digital transformation in line with Zambia’s broader development goals.
