On December 19, 2024, Mr. Enock Percy Kavindele, former Vice President of the Republic of Zambia, embarked on a significant diplomatic mission to the Republic of Zimbabwe. Acting as the Special Envoy of Mr. Hakainde Hichilema, President of the Republic of Zambia, Mr. Kavindele delivered a special message to His Excellency Mr. Emmerson Mnangagwa, President of the Republic of Zimbabwe and Chairperson of the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
Accompanying the Special Envoy was Hon. Mulambo Haimbe, S.C, M.P, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The delegation’s visit underscored the importance of maintaining strong diplomatic ties and fostering regional cooperation within the SADC framework.
Following their engagement, Mr. Kavindele and his delegation promptly returned to Zambia, highlighting the efficiency and purposefulness of their mission. The visit marks a continued effort to strengthen bilateral relations and address regional issues collaboratively.
