Courier Kings SHIMZLAW has announced the appointment of Mr. Chewe Puta as the new Managing Director for its courier and logistics services, while Mr. Arghya Sinha continues to lead the ICT and Technology Services division.
Mr. Puta, a seasoned professional with over ten years of experience in postal, courier, insurance, and logistics, is recognized as one of Zambia’s leading experts in the field.
His previous role as Acting Postmaster General at ZAMPOST showcased his ability to enhance business operations and delivery standards, earning the organization multiple prestigious awards, including recognition from the Universal Postal Union.
With a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a minor in e-Commerce from Pensacola Christian College, Mr. Puta brings a robust background in non-life insurance, financial services, and distribution networks.
As Courier Kings aims to establish itself as a regional leader in the SADC area, the Board and Management express their confidence in Mr. Puta’s leadership and wish him success in this new endeavor.
Arghya Sinha serves as the Managing Director of Technology and Operations at Shimzlaw – Tech, bringing over 30 years of experience in driving profitability and operational excellence.
Known for his strong negotiation skills and leadership abilities, he excels in team building, enhancing customer experiences, and implementing effective sales strategies in the ICT sector.
Since joining Shimzlaw – Tech eight months ago, Mr. Sinha has leveraged his extensive background in sales and project management to foster relationships with customers and government entities in Zambia, leading to significant contracts in E-Government and local ministries.
His expertise in the latest hardware and software technologies enables him to deliver exceptional value to clients as a local Zambian entity. Previously, he held leadership roles at Computech Limited and Techno Brain Zambia, accumulating a wealth of experience in both Tanzania and Zambia, along with a successful career in India.
Mr. Sinha holds an MBA in Sales and Marketing from IGNOU and has received numerous accolades for his contributions to business and technology. His notable projects include the implementation of enterprise solutions for East African banks, integrating various ICT platforms, and managing complex software and virtualization projects.
