During a heartfelt valedictory session at the Supreme Court in Lusaka, Dr. Malila reflected on Dr. Mwanawasa’s professionalism and ethical standards whenever she appeared in court, emphasizing her unwavering commitment to justice.
He noted her role as a staunch advocate for equal rights and opportunities for women and girls, mentioning her involvement with the Law Association of Zambia’s Women Rights Committee, which showcased her dedication to uplifting marginalized voices.
Furthermore, Dr. Malila acknowledged her volunteer work with the National Legal Aid Clinic for Women, where she provided pro bono legal assistance to disadvantaged women and girls while practicing at Mwanawasa and Company.
