Former Minister of Health Sylvia Masebo expressed her frustration during a meeting with volunteer workers at Ndeke House, where they had gathered to seek updates on their employment status following Presidential directives.
Accompanied by the newly appointed Minister of Health Elijah Muchima, Ms Masebo accused the volunteers of causing confusion and bringing up issues that were not on the agenda.
She warned them against disrupting the meeting and reprimanded them for their undisciplined behavior, questioning their ability to work in hospitals with such attitudes.
Ms Masebo’s visibly upset demeanor was evident as she addressed the volunteers, making it clear that she would not tolerate any attempts to disrupt the meeting or abuse the new Minister.
She also expressed her knowledge of the province and her experience in the healthcare sector, emphasizing that she was not willing to be disrespected by the volunteers.
The newly appointed Minister looked on helplessly as Ms Masebo confronted the volunteers, highlighting the tense atmosphere during the meeting.
