ZESCO Limited has experienced a setback at its Victoria Falls Power Station, resulting in a loss of 42 Megawatts.
The incident occurred on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 22:39 hours when one of the generators tripped.
As a result, ZESCO’s power generation has been further reduced, leading to extended power rationing.
The company is working diligently to restore the Victoria Falls Power Station to full operation and stabilize the power supply as soon as possible.
ZESCO apologizes for any inconvenience caused and appreciates its customers’ understanding during this time.
