The U.S Embassy in Lilongwe has announced its commitment to deploying a U.S Department of Defense C-12 aircraft to aid in the search and rescue mission for the missing plane that was carrying Vice President Saulos Chilima and nine other individuals.
According to a press release issued by the Embassy, they expressed their profound concern regarding the situation and expressed solidarity with President Chakwera as they collectively pray for the safe return of all passengers aboard the aircraft.
The Embassy has assured that they will be providing full support and assistance in the search efforts to locate the missing plane and ensure the safety and well-being of those on board.
