President Hakainde Hichilema has reassured the nation that his Government is committed to addressing the high prices of mealie meal and fuel. Speaking to Copperbelt clergy in Kitwe, he emphasized that his administration’s primary goal is to improve the quality of life for all citizens.
President Hichilema acknowledged the challenges currently faced by the country and urged the public to remain calm as his Government works tirelessly to find solutions. He expressed his concern over the rising costs of essential commodities and emphasized the importance of resolving these issues promptly.
In a show of unity, President Hichilema extended an invitation to the church to collaborate with the Government in addressing various national issues. He emphasized that his administration does not discriminate against any church and recognizes all church mother bodies as equal.
Furthermore, the President highlighted the Government’s commitment to combating corruption and ensuring that individuals do not engage in corrupt practices. He emphasized the importance of upholding integrity and transparency in all dealings to create a fair and just society for all citizens.
