The Kamwala Ward Councillor Mainda Simataa has disclosed that K410,000 has been set aside under the Constitueny Development Fund CDF in order to complete an abandoned Maternity Wing project at Kamwala South Health Post whose construction had stalled for more than 4 years.
And speaking after visiting the site Councillor Simataa said the first contractor had abandoned the project in June 2021 after being paid and hence it has become a nightmare to bring the project back on track which led to vandalism of doors, electrical wires and other installations which now have to be refitted.
