In a recent announcement, Mayor Nyambe Muyumbana revealed that the Mongu City Council has unanimously agreed to grant President Hakainde Hichilema the prestigious title of a freeman of the Mongu Municipality.
According to Muyumbana, this decision was made in accordance with the Local Government Act, which empowers councils to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the city.
