President Hakainde Hichilema is expected to inaugurate the Chingola Chililabombwe Kasumbalesa road and the Chililabombwe District Hospital soon.
Mines Minister Paul Kabuswe, who is also the Chililabombwe Member of Parliament, made this announcement during the handover ceremony of a new 12 unit mortuary refrigerator at Kakoso Level One hospital in Chililabombwe.
He highlighted that the commissioning of the Chingola Chililabombwe Kasumbalesa road is a significant development on the Copperbelt, alongside the Mopani Copper Mines partnership.
He expressed confidence that the government’s efforts are leading the country towards economic growth.
Chililabombwe District Commissioner Precious Njekwa commended President Hichilema for the positive changes being made in the country through initiatives like the constituency development fund- CDF.
Additionally, Chililabombwe District Health Director Prince Kaputula mentioned that numerous health facilities in the District have been renovated and constructed using the increased CDF.
