In Limulunga Royal Village, the unfortunate incident occurred where Akapelwa Silumbu, a respected induna of the Barotse Royal Establishment (BRE), was shot and killed inside his vehicle at his residence.
The distressing event took place last night, with gunshots being heard around 10:00 PM.
The lifeless body of Silumbu was discovered in the car the following morning. The vehicle had been parked at his house, adding to the tragedy.
It is worth mentioning that Silumbu had previously served as the Senanga district education board secretary (DEBS), further highlighting the loss of a valuable member of the community.
