President Hakainde Hichilema recently made changes within the Ministry of Finance and National Planning by dismissing the Accountant General, Kennedy Musonda, and the Controller of Internal Audit, Chibwe Nerbert Mulonda.

Following the dismissals, Ms Nsandi Manza has taken over as the new Accountant General, while Mr Ringo Zulu has been appointed as the new Controller of Internal Audit.
These changes are part of the President’s efforts to ensure efficiency and transparency within the ministry, as well as to bring in fresh perspectives and expertise to drive the country’s financial management forward.
