Her Excellency Ms. Judith Mulenga has officially become Zambia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of France after presenting her Letters of Credence to the French President His Excellency, Mr Emmanuel Macron at Élysée Palace in Paris.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Mulenga expressed President Hakainde Hichilema’s gratitude towards President Macron and the French Government for their assistance in Zambia’s efforts to overcome debt distress by restructuring the debt for better debt management.
She also extended her appreciation to President Macron for the Direct Budget Support provided to Zambia, emphasizing President Hichilema’s commitment to enhancing the country’s economy for the betterment of its citizens.
In response, President Macron commended President Hakainde Hichilema for his dedication to restructuring Zambia’s debt and assured Ambassador Mulenga of France’s unwavering support in this endeavor.
