In a significant meeting today, Hon Warren Mwambazi, the Member of Parliament for Bwana Mkubwa, had the privilege of sitting down with Hon Charles Milupi, the Minister of Infrastructure and Urban Development. Our primary agenda was to address the dire condition of the Ndeke Mini Road, which has been deteriorating for an extended period.
The residents of Bwana Mkubwa have been expressing their dissatisfaction with the deplorable condition of the road, causing great inconvenience in their daily movements. Determined to address this issue, I took the initiative this morning to reach out to Honourable Milupi. With his involvement, there is now a glimmer of hope for the residents as he has assured them that the construction of a 5 Km road will begin in April 2024. Interestingly, this coincides with the commencement of the Ndola Lusaka dual carriageway project, a significant development shared by Hon Mwambazi.
The remarkable commitment of Honourable Milupi towards improving the infrastructure in the area has not gone unnoticed, as Hon Mwambazi expressed his gratitude. This dedication from the government showcases their unwavering efforts to enhance connectivity and accessibility for the local community.
