Yesterday, the Health Minister, Honorable Sylvia Masebo, had the opportunity to meet Annie Nakushwela, a young lady who recently made headlines for her inspiring journey. Annie, who worked as a security guard to fund her university education, successfully graduated from nursing school a few weeks ago. Her determination and hard work serve as a shining example to others.

Annie’s extraordinary journey reached a new milestone today as she received her official job offer as a nurse, ready to serve in the Chirundu district. The Health minister was present to express admiration and extend heartfelt congratulations to this remarkable young woman, who transitioned from being a security guard to pursuing a career in nursing.

This young woman serves as a source of inspiration for all aspiring individuals who dream of achieving greatness. It is a testament to the power of sacrifice and perseverance that dreams can indeed materialize. Congratulations on securing your new position.

Annie, who is currently employed as a security guard at a reputable security firm in Lusaka, expressed her joy and gratitude as she encountered the Minister of Health at Ndeke House today. Despite facing numerous challenges, criticisms, and obstacles along the way, she remained steadfast and determined to pursue her dream. This encounter marks another significant milestone in her journey, and she couldn’t be happier.
