The National Assembly has made it clear that it will not acknowledge any directives or communication from Given Lubinda-led PF. In a letter to PF president Miles Sampa, the Clerk of National Assembly, Cecilia Mambwe, stated that Parliament will not accept any instructions or correspondence from Mr. Lubinda or Mr. Nixon Chilangwa in their roles as acting president and acting secretary-general of the PF, as long as the injunction is in effect.

This decision comes in response to an interim injunction issued by the High Court of Zambia, which restrains Lubinda and Chilangwa from holding these positions. The National Assembly has acknowledged the injunction and will not recognize Lubinda and Chilangwa in their acting capacities until the injunction is lifted.

Following an interim injunction filed in the Lusaka High Court, the National Assembly has announced that it will not be accepting any instructions from the Patriotic Front (PF) led by Given Lubinda.

The National Assembly has announced that it will disregard any directives or instructions given by the PF led by Given Lubinda. This decision comes in response to the appointment of Raphael Nakacinda as the acting secretary-general of the PF, which was made by Lubinda himself in his capacity as the acting president of the party.

The National Assembly has made it clear that they will not acknowledge any instructions or communication from Raphael Nakacinda in his role as Secretary-General of the Patriotic Front Party. This decision is based on the fact that at the time of his appointment, there was an interim injunction preventing Given Lubinda from acting as president of the PF. As a result, Nakacinda’s appointment is considered invalid.
